Young players can join one of the largest youth soccer organisations in Utah next month when 7 Elite Academy holds a series of annual tryouts.

The organisation will hold trials in the Salt Lake City, Utah County, Southern Utah and Weber/Davis regions, starting on May 13th and running until May 31st. Specific details on dates are available here.

7 Elite Academy has staged a series of high-profiles events for players over the last year, including training camps with English Premier League star James Milner and staff from leading EPL and La Liga sides.

7EA teams also enjoyed consistent success in regional and national competitions throughout 2018, culminating in the organisation's 01 Boys (South) being named National Champions.

The 7EA tournament, meanwhile, attracted over 100 teams from across the United States in January and is set to include international teams from 2020.

Anthony Godfrey, Global Technical Director at 7 Elite Academy, said: “These tryouts come at a crucial time for our Academy, as we look to build on the fantastic successes our players have enjoyed over the last year.

“The fact that over 100 teams registered for our tournament shows the incredible potential for growth we have here at 7EA, both nationally and internationally.

“We are bringing coaching staff and players over from the English Premier League and La Liga on a regular basis, which is creating fantastic opportunities for our young people to learn from the best in the business.

“Our tryouts are a way for youngsters in Utah to commit to a training and playing programme that is designed to continually develop them as good people, both on and off the pitch.”

There is no charge for current 7 Elite Academy players to take part, while others will be charged $10 which includes an exclusive tryout jersey.

Age brackets will range from under-9 to under-18, although there will also be sample training sessions for Pre-Academy players in the 2012-2015 birth years.

Wayne Scholes, Chief Executive at 7 Elite Academy, said: “I am so proud of how our players have developed and achieved so much over the last year, and I want even more young people to enjoy the experiences we offer.

“From consistent success in regional tournaments and national competitions, we have been delighted to support our players in so many different ways.

“The curriculum of learning we offer ensures a continual path of lifelong development for players, from the very first moment they join us. That passion for creating good young people is a key part of our philosophy.”

“This a hugely exciting time for 7 Elite Academy, with many international coaching staff, players and teams looking to share in our success.”

Players are encouraged to attend all days of tryouts for their location and age group.  To aid in an efficient check-in process at the try-outs, all players are encouraged to pre-register. On site same day registration is $20 dollars.
