7 Elite Academy Global Technical Director Anthony Godfrey insists the organisation's line-up of professional coaches gives youngsters the opportunity to learn techniques direct from the English Premier League.

7EA coaching staff have been drawn from clubs in some of the world's top soccer leagues, including the EPL and La Liga in Spain, as well as leading clubs across the United States.

The Academy will hold a series try-outs for existing and new players next month, with sessions due to run from May 13th in Southern Utah through to May 31st in other regions.

And Godfrey is urging young players to take advantage of a unique opportunity to train with top-level coaches.

He said: “We have brought together a unique group of professionally licensed coaches who are all incredibly passionate about developing young players to the very best of their potential.

“Experience is a key asset for any coach, so for us to have staff who have worked with clubs in the English Premier League, La Liga and US Soccer will be a great boost for any youngster wanting to join us.

“All of our coaches are fully licenced and have worked with children at all stages of the player development cycle, from Pre-Academy through to college ages.

“This is a very exciting time for any young person wanting to join 7EA or for those wanting to continue their career with us. We are continually expanding, both here in Utah and on the international stage.”

7 Elite Academy staff are given full access to the highly-regarded Sports Session Planner education system and receive regular updates from leading coach educators, including the FA's Senior Tutor Keith Mayer.

Godfrey added: “Access to Sports Session Planner is a must for any coach who has worked with leading professional players in Europe. It is regarded throughout the game as the gold standard of coaching tools.

“I have known Keith Mayer for a number of years and he has incredibly high standards when it comes to educating coaching staff. He is seen as one of the world experts on developing young players.

“Keith is a regular visitor to 7 Elite Academy and has already staged two very informative and useful coach education coaches for us. Those courses will provide a direct benefit to our players.

“We are doing something different here in Utah and replicating the professional game in every way, from coaching sessions to individual athletic development and right down to high-quality kits for each player.”
