7 Elite Academy has continued its expansion on the international stage with the creation of a brand-new coaching and player development program in Tanzania.

The opening of 7EA East Africa will see the organization’s coaching staff work with young players and coaches from the major Tanzanian city of Dar es Salaam.

The move marks a further stage in the development of 7 Elite Academy, following the announcement of a new 45-acre indoor and outdoor training camp in Southern Utah.

7EA staff travelled to Tanzania this week to cement the new program and hold training sessions with local youngsters.

A press conference on Saturday marked the official launch.

"We have been working hard towards this moment over the last twelve months and have been given fantastic support by the local and national government."

“It is my immense pleasure to launch 7 Elite Academy in East Africa. We will be based in Dar es Salaam, but will organize coaching and player development throughout the country.”

Staff also met with the Tanzanian Football Federation Technical Director and Director of National Sports Development.

Godfrey said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for 7 Elite Academy to reach out and make a difference to the lives of young people in East Africa.

“We have been given a wonderful reception this week and it has been humbling to meet so many people who are willing to work with us.

“I am so excited about this new expansion for 7 Elite Academy, as we continue to show people how a professional approach to youth soccer can bring huge benefits.”
