Over 50 young soccer players from across Southern Utah showcased their newly-found skills at 7 Elite Academy's Fall Invitational Pre-Academy Jamboree.

The 7EA Pre-Academy program works with boys and girls in the 2012 to 2015 age brackets, introducing the basics of soccer before they join the organisation's main curriculum.

This year's jamboree, held in St. George on November 4th, followed a ten-week coaching course with professional staff that taught players a range of skills, while also instilling a love for playing the game.

It was the second time 7 Elite Academy has run a Pre-Academy program in Southern Utah, as it continues to expand its reach across the region and the wider United States.

Matt Brown, 7 Elite Pre-Academy Manager, said: “The response to our first Pre-Academy program in St. George was fantastic and showed how much passion there is for youth soccer in Utah.

“Every single young person who attended our program fully embraced the opportunity to develop their skills in a range of sessions and also to make life-long friends amongst team-mates.

“Players were able to showcase their skills and what they have learned over the past 10 weeks during our soccer jamboree.

“They walked away with smiles and a shiny well-deserved medal, along with some other fun goodies and are looking forward to the upcoming Spring season.

“The fact that we had just over 50 youngsters turn out for the jamboree, along with parents and family members, was a great way to cap off an incredible season.

“The 7 Elite Academy coaching staff, including Juli Nield, Laura Evans, Stuart Dewey, Annalisa Noe, Jonny Broadhead, did a great job of working with the players.”

The Pre-Academy season will resume on February 8th with a second jamboree event in St. George, as part of the 2020 7 Elite Academy International Tournament.

DJs will create a party atmosphere across the International Tournament weekend, alongside a range of fun prizes, social events and surprise challenges for players and parents.
