7 Elite Academy youngsters across the world have completed the first week of the Academies Home Technical Development Programme with flying colours.

The program of training exercises was introduced after 7 Elite Academy cancelled all group activities due to the global Covid-19 pandemic.

Youngsters in the United States, United Kingdom and Africa have been sent a series of tasks and purposeful information that will benefit their game on and off the pitch – this will change on a weekly basis - to complete at home.

Players in all three global locations have posted videos of them completing the various challenges, which have been viewed thousands of times on 7 Elite Academy social media.

7 Elite Academy has a superb coaching team that has a wealth of experience, with many of the organisation's coaches having worked with some of the biggest clubs in the world.

They are gaining coaching badges year upon year while at 7 Elite Academy - including five 'A' Licence coaches – so the organisation is well-equipped to deliver high-quality technical training programmes.

Anthony Godfrey, Global Technical Director at 7 Elite Academy said: “Our first priority, as a group of players, coaches and families, is to ensure everyone protects themselves against Covid-19.

“Although we want our young people to follow all local rules on self-isolation and self-distancing, we also recognise that football can play a key role in terms of fitness, exercise and nutrition.

“Our team of coaching staff have been working together to prepare a high-quality series of activities that will change every week and keep our players motivated during these difficult times.

“The important message is that we want young people with 7 Elite Academy to remain at the top of their game - technically, physically, socially and tactically.

“With the Home Technical Development Programme that we provide our players each week, we will certainly support them in every way.

“This is a challenging time for us all, but as a group we can follow the 7 Elite Academy values – Excellence, Tenacity, Honor, Innovation, Community and Sacrifice - that make this organisation so unique.”
