7 Elite Academy has seen a third week of remarkable growth for its Home Technical Program as the organisation's young people across the world continue their development.

Players in the United States, United Kingdom and Africa have received a third set of training sessions to help their development during the current Covid-19 restrictions.

That program will continue throughout the pandemic – and is set to expand even further as 7 Elite Academy brings on board a string of high-profile players and coaches.

David Mayer, Global Head of Foundation Phase at 7 Elite Academy, said: “I have been so impressed by the hard work and dedication shown by our players throughout the world, as we continue to provide them with the tools to further their development.

“It is heartening that while we face so many necessary and important local restrictions during this challenging time for us all, our youngsters are willing to train whenever they can.

“We have designed the Home Technical Program to give maximum benefit for our players, both in terms of technical ability and overall fitness. This program will undoubtedly help improve the players that use it.

“As coaches, we have been using Zoom to stay in touch with players, which have helped to strengthen the essential connections between the coaches and player.

“We are also about to release an exciting series of sessions with well-known names within soccer. They will be an opportunity for our players to take advantage of 7 Elite Academy's strong links with the professional game.

“Most importantly, I want every person associated with 7 Elite Academy to be safe and healthy. That is at the forefront of my mind.

"The Covid-19 pandemic can be very unsettling, but I know that by working as group of committed players, parents and coaching staff, we can make sure we are fully prepared for a return to playing the game we all love.”
