7 Elite Academy's Home Technical Program is set to offer young people across the world even more insight into the professional game, following a successful fourth week of sessions.

The program was launched to give 7 Elite Academy players an opportunity to continue their development while following local restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Hundreds of 7EA youngsters in the United States, United Kingdom and Africa have benefitted from training programs, online team meetings and even remote one-to-one sessions with coaches.

And with the 7 Elite Academy Online Masterclass launched this week with Inter Miami star and US Captain Wil Trapp, work is continuing to expand that offering.

Anthony Godfrey, Global Technical Director at 7 Elite Academy, said: “I can't thank our players, parents and coaching staff enough for their support as we work together to continue this organisation's work during these difficult times.

“The overriding message is that everyone should be following local restrictions and helping to fight Covid-19 in whatever way they can. That is so important.

“But keeping our players prepared for an eventual return to training is something we also need to have at the forefront of our minds.

“The Home Technical Program is proving to be a great success, as are our team meetings via Zoom and remote one-to-one sessions. They are all helping to build and maintain crucial relationships.

“We are so excited to have launched the 7 Elite Online Masterclass with our first guest, Wil Trapp, on Thursday. His knowledge of the professional game is so valuable to our players.

“We are also looking into other ways to engage with our young people over the next few weeks, so we want them to keep on sending us their training videos for social media.”
