The 2021 7 Elite Academy International Tournament will be played at three top-class locations when the action gets under way in Utah and Nevada next February.

Teams will once again play games at fields in the Saint George and Mesquite areas from February 4th to February 6th, as the tournament continues to expand.

The 2020 competition saw a record 138 teams from across the world take part and with enquiries streaming in about next year’s event, organisers have secured Little Valley Fields, Sullivan Virgin Soccer Park and Mesquite Regional Sports Complex.

Daren Woolstenhume, CEO of 7 Elite Academy, is delighted to have secured a return to Little Valley.

He said: “It is fantastic news that we are expecting to accommodate more teams in what is fast becoming one of most popular international tournaments in our region.

“Registration for the tournament has only been open a few days, but already we are getting enquiries from teams based across the United States and further afield.

“The fields at Sullivan Virgin Soccer Park and Mesquite Regional Sports Complex are first class and we now have a third location at Little Valley complement those fantastic facilities.

“We have previously held tournament games at Little Valley so we know the fields are equally as good as our first two locations, with further facilities to offer a great day out for players and their families.”

Little Valley will host games in the Under-9 to Under-12 age groups, Sullivan will feature Under-13 and Under-14 brackets, and Mesquite will be the base for matches in the Under-15 to Under-19 age groups.

The popular Pre-Academy jamboree will also return, following last year's hugely successful introduction.

Nick Nield, Tournament Director, said: “The 2021 7 Elite Academy International Tournament may be five months away, but we are already working hard to mark sure we go better than 2020.

“We are expecting to see the return of elite teams from across the country next year, as well as some from aboard. It is very exciting for us all.

"Right now, we are laying the foundations for what will be a memorable weekend of soccer for not only the players, but also their families, coaches and everyone else.

“The facilities in Saint George and Mesquite were absolutely brilliant in 2020, but we are always pushing for improvements in every aspect of our event.

“With that in mind, we are very much looking forward to once again hosting games at Little Valley and giving even more teams an unforgettable experience.”
