7 Elite Academy will give youngsters the opportunity to train in a professional environment with world-class coaches when tryouts start across Utah next month.

The youth soccer organization, which runs training programs for youngsters in the USA, UK and Africa, will hold tryouts throughout May.

Players at 7 Elite Academy regularly work with UEFA A-Licensed coaches, including staff who have worked with Liverpool FC Academy, Barcelona, Manchester City and Pau FC.

They also receive regular mentoring from professional players and coaches, including ex-Liverpool and England defender Stephen Warnock and Fenerbahce striker Mbwana Samatta.

Other benefits include full Adidas kit, twice-weekly training sessions and regular player evaluations from coaches.

Daren Woolstenhulme, CEO of 7 Elite Academy, said: “The youth soccer community in Utah is incredibly strong and over the last year it has overcome so many great challenges.

“We are proud to be part of that community and to have the opportunity for even more young people join us at tryouts in May.

“Our expansion is continuing and over the next year we will be offering so many exciting opportunities to players – not just here in Utah, but across the world.

“The fact that we have academies in the UK and Africa opens up so many possibilities that are only going to be available to young people who are selected at tryouts.”

7 Elite Academy is now offering US players a chance to live, train and study in Liverpool, thanks to a new working partnership with Coaching Connexions College.

That collaboration will also see players from the UK and Africa study and train in the United States and is part of a global approach by the expanding youth soccer organization.

Anthony Godfrey, President of 7 Elite Academy, said: “Everyone within our academy is geared towards giving young people unbeatable opportunities to develop their potential.

“That is why we employ staff with some of the best qualifications in soccer. Our Staff hold UEFA and USSF A Licenses, as well as USSF B, C and D licenses.

“We give our staff consistent opportunities to develop their skills in all aspects of the game, which in turns means they can give players even more ways to improve.

“Tryouts are a chance for young people to not only display their skills, but also show us their willingness to learn and benefit from our professional approach to training.”

Tryouts get under way in Southern Utah (Saint George) on May 17th and run until May 20th, with sessions to be held at Little Valley Fields.

In the Salt Lake / Davis / Weber counties, Under-9 and Under-10 tryouts run on May 24th and May 25th, while sessions for Under-11 to Under-19 players are set for June 1st to June 4th.
