7 Elite Academy has been inundated with enquiries from players about next month’s tryouts in Saint George and Salt Lake City.

Hundreds of youngsters have already signed up for the sessions, which take place over three weeks in different regions of Utah from May 17th.

Tryouts are open to all players at all ability levels - those selected will benefit from working alongside USSF and UEFA A-Licensed coaches with Premier League experience as well as USSF B, C and D licensed staff.

7 Elite Academy offers full support with the college application process, alongside trips to college showcase events throughout the year.

There are also opportunities for youngsters to play and study abroad, thanks the academy’s training bases in the United Kingdom and Africa.

Daren Woolstenhulme, CEO of 7 Elite Academy, said: “It has been brilliant to see our tryouts gather such momentum, even though we only launched them a week ago.

“That goes to show how much the hard work by our coaches and staff is paying off, not just in terms of what has happened on the field, but through our player pathway.

“The youth soccer community here in Utah has responded fantastically to the opportunities we put into place for young people to progress and develop their potential.

“We have plans in place to expand on those opportunities over the next twelve months and offer even more ways for players to benefit, both here and abroad.”

Tryouts get under way in Southern Utah (Saint George) on May 17th and run until May 20th, with sessions to be held at Little Valley Fields.

In the Salt Lake / Davis / Weber counties, Under-9 and Under-10 tryouts run on May 24th and May 25th, while sessions for Under-11 to Under-19 players are set for June 1st to June 4th.

Anthony Godfrey, President and Technical Director of 7 Elite Academy, said: “Tryouts are a great way for young people to see what we have to offer and get a chance to join one of our teams.

“Many of our coaches have worked with top-level clubs in Europe and are delivering sessions that closely mirror the methods employed in those leagues.

“Those sessions are just part of the pathway of opportunity we offer to every single player who is successful at our tryouts next month.

“To see such a positive reaction to our tryouts is great for everyone here at 7 Elite Academy and bodes very well for the future of our organization.”

Youngsters receive regular mentoring from professional players and coaches, including ex-Liverpool and England defender Stephen Warnock and Fenerbahce striker Mbwana Samatta.

Other benefits include full Adidas training kits, twice-weekly training sessions and regular player evaluations from coaches.
