Former Liverpool FC and England defender Stephen Warnock will stage a three-day Premier League training camp, partnership with 7 Elite Academy, in St George next week.

Warnock, who made over 200 appearances in the top flight of English soccer for Liverpool, Aston Villa and Blackburn Rovers, was a member of England’s World Cup squad in 2010.

He will be looking to pass on his experience to youngsters in the 2004 to 2014 age brackets during the training camp, which will be held on September 20th, 22nd and 23rd.

Players from all youth soccer clubs in region are invited to join the camp, which is expected to sell out quickly. The cost is $35 per player, with different age groups on each day.

Warnock said: “I really enjoy seeing the enthusiasm and passion for soccer whenever I come to Utah. It is a hot-bed of talent that is always promising to experience.

“The training camp will be a great opportunity for me to work with those talented players. I will be developing training drills that make the most of their considerable potential.

“We will be covering essential skills and exercises on the pitch, but also the details away from training sessions that can make a big difference to a youngsters prospects.

“I remember attending training camps with professional players when I was a youngster and they were always a great experience. As well as new skills, players will make new friendships that will last a lifetime.”

Warnock will accompanied by UEFA and FA A Licensed coaches at the training camp, which will take place at Little Valley Fields in St George.

Boys and Girls from all clubs can sign up for the camp, which takes place on September 20th, 22nd and 23rd.

Each session will be 90 minutes and host a maximum of 36 players.

“We are opening the camp up to players from all clubs in Utah. This is an opportunity that offers so many possibilities for youngsters who want to progress in soccer.”

The age bracket dates are: 
Tuesday 20th September - 2004-2008
Thursday 22nd September - 2009-2011
Friday 23rd September - 2012-2014
