7 Elite Academy has tripled the rate of registrations for January’s 7EA tournament, as interest continues to grow from clubs across the United States.

Latest figures show there has been a 300 per cent rise in teams signing up to take part in the competition, which gets under way with local matches on January 31st 2019.

7 Elite Academy General Manager, Daren Woolstenhume, believes the increased interest is testament to a year of continued expansion for the Academy.

He said: “Staff here at 7 Elite Academy have been working incredibly hard to bring a professional approach to all aspects of what we do and it seems to be paying off.

“We want the 2019 7EA Tournament to be an example of how a tournament can be organized in a professional and enjoyable manner for every single player.

“We have recruited coaches from the world’s top leagues over the last twelve months and everyone is determined to bring incredibly high standards to the competition.

“Of course we want everyone to enjoy their experience at the tournament, so it will be a fun few days for staff, coaches and above all, players.”

Matches will be played at Sullivan Virgin River Soccer Park, Little Valley Fields, with a dedicated finals day to be held on February 2nd.

Registration costs for the tournament will be $545 for teams aged under-9 to under-12 and $595 for teams aged under-13 to under-19. The registration deadline in January 15th, 2019.

Wayne Scholes, CEO of 7 Elite Academy, said: “I am delighted to see so many teams register for our tournament, even though we have almost two months to go until the deadline.

“These figures show that clubs from all over the United States have recognized the high standards we are bringing to youth soccer.
“From the staff in our Salt Lake and St George offices, to the coaching staff on the fields across Utah, everyone has made a step up in professionalism this year.

“Our young players are already benefitting from this each week and we want to celebrate that approach during the 2019 7EA Tournament.”
